DJ BIOGRAPHY: Sering Omar Lowe Nicolas (DJ S.O.M.E.L)
Sering Omar Lowe Nicolas (aka DJ S.O.M.E.L) is a Deejay, Music Producer, and Hip-Hop Artist based out of the UK and The Gambia. His musical specialty is influenced by his Afro-Latin ethnicity and includes the sounds of Hip-Hop, Rhythm and Blues, Afrobeats, Dancehall and Reggaeton.
DJ S.O.M.E.L has had the opportunity to Deejay in 4 continents (USA, Europe, Africa, and Asia) at nightclubs, lounges and private venues such as Shelter Club (London, UK), Taboo (Manama, Bahrain), Envy The Clubhouse (Fajara, The Gambia), Sunset Beach Resort (Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia), Abyssinia Ethiopian Restaurant (Raleigh, USA) and Horton Lounge (Drayton, UK). He also has his own sound system and does private events such as Private Parties, Corporate Events and Weddings.
He has been in the music scene since his early teens and got formally trained as an apprentice Deejay in the USA and in Audio Production at SAE London, UK. Currently, he is focused on his Deejay career and producing tunes at his music studio in The Gambia, West Africa, UBR (United by Rhythm) Studios.
